Our Super Eagles began their 2018
FIFA World Cup Qualifying campaign on a good note with as they beat Zambia 2-1 in a pulsating encounter.
Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi and Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho scored in the 33th minute and 43th minute respectively before halftime.
Zambia’s Mbesuma though scored in the 70th minute to give the home side a lifeline. Nigeria were able to hold on to claim all three points and move top in Group B.
