Nigeria wins first Olympic medal since 2008

Brazil – Nigeria Dream Team finally snatched a medal at the Rio Olympics in a third place against Honduras on Saturday which ended,Nigeria 3-2 Honduras ,Nigeria’s first Olympic medal since 2008.
Two goals from Sadiq Umar and another from Aminu Umar gave Nigeria a three goal lead but despite scoring two goals it was not enough to deny Nigeria a priceless bronze medal in a torrid campaign at the Rio Olympics.
Although Honduras committed more men for the rest of the match, Dream Team held on to secure Nigeria’s first Olympic medal since 2008 ,we here in Elingonews are saying congratulations .
