Kim Kardashian ‘on lockdown’ after terrifying gunpoint robbery
Kim Kardashian is understandably shaken from the terrifying events that saw her robbed at gunpoint in Paris last week and now her family is on lockdown.
Her younger sister Khloe has revealed how the 35-year-old is coping following the harrowing incident that took place in her apartment in the French capital in the middle of the night as millions worth of jewellery were stolen from her.
Kim, 35, returned to Los Angeles after a few days in New York, with her children – three-year-old North and 10-month-old Saint on Thursday last week and has been spending all of her time with her family to try and recover and hasn’t left her home, according to a source.
“For the most part, the whole family has been on lockdown,” an insider told People magazine.
Reality star Kim was left “shaken” after five armed men broke into her private apartment in Paris, held her at gunpoint, tied her up, and stole millions of pounds worth of jewellery.
The whole family have remained in hiding since, cancelling public appearances and scaling back their social media presence.
But Khloe was the first of the klan to break her silence on Tuesday, as she appeared on the Ellen Degeneres Show .
Admitted her sibling is “not doing that well,” she told the host the family are all offering her vital support.
“I mean, it’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her,” she told the host. “But our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it together, and we do appreciate all of your guys’ love and support and it will take time. You know, it was horrible what happened to her.”
The whole family have taken time out from social media following the ordeal, and Khloe admitted they are now re-thinking their presence online.
“I think it’s just a wake up call to make a lot of life adjustments,” she added.
